Program

The UDC Program builds mindset and skillset for constructively engaging with people from different socio-cultural groups in the local community of Hong Kong

Open-minded Thinking

Learn about cognitive diversity, tribal dynamics, group polarization, implicit biases, and inferencing process. Develop meta-cognition and practice the skills to notice and act on one's assumptions and emotions

REAL Chat

Practice non-divisive, assertive and constructive dialogue with 'the others' who are different or even opposite to your own. Gain perspectives of others, share your views truthfully, and constructively disagree.

Multiperspectivity

Purposefully curating our intake from various media and sources, including news, search, and social platforms, and making an effort to understand different viewpoints helps us gather a broad, factual base of knowledge with clarity.
